We will achieve this through a global campaign run by partners, organizations around the world who believe that eating sustainably can make the world better.
Who’s doing it
The campaign was started by IFOAM – Organics International in 2019.
Now, retailers, consumers and producers all over the world are joining the Honest Food movement.

The toolkit contains everything you need to run the campaign in your own country. It explains the campaign, shows you how to create communications, gives you all the tools and messaging you need and provides contact details.

A global campaign for good food
The initial idea for the campaign came from IFOAM – Organics International, who wanted to develop a campaign to encourage people to eat more sustainably.
With the help of a wide network of organizations and stakeholders from around the world, Honest Food was launched – a global campaign which can be adapted with different messages and images to fit the local priorities. Although we face different local contexts, a wide group of stakeholders are united behind Honest Food, because we all want people to choose more local, seasonal and organic food.
We’d like to thank all the individuals and organizations who have contributed their time and ideas to developing the Honest Food campaign.
